Duties & Responsibilities
? Primary responsibility is critical NPI or supply chain strategic program management
interfacing with R&D, PLM, Rel, Project teams, Operations, aligning supply chain
function team’s effort on program/product basis
? The supply chain manager participates in all assigned programs activities as supply
chain presentative, making sure supply chain is involved in design early phase,
supplier strategy is addressed, supply chain risk assessed, make sure programs get
prompt supply chain support where there’s a need
? The supply chain program manager is to coordinate and manage products’ BOM key
components’ supplier selection in comply with supply chain supplier strategy,
introducing multiple sources, DFM conducted, sample called, qualification planned
and conducted, cost reductions during NPI stage
? Supply chain program manager may also support strategic supply chain programs
by collaborating cross-functional department making sure specific goal achieved,
such as cost reduction, continuous supply for sustaining products, may also
support cost analysis and cost reduction roadmap development
? The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategy, cost, risk, schedule
management in terms of supply chain various aspects and fulfill supply chain
strategic goal in the assigned programs.
? Travel may be required for projects coordination across multiple geographies.
Qualification & Requirement
? Design Engineering or NPI Process Engineer in Optical industry experience are
preferred
? Experience in program management in a high-tech global company is required.
? Be able to think and act globally across multiple cultures, time zones and functions.
? Strong ability to analyze impact of changes and coordinate for mitigation plan in
quality, cost and continuity of supply in dual source introduction, qualification or
cost reduction activities
? Strong time management skills and process oriented.
? Strong data analysis ability and Agile, ERP user experience? Familiar with NPI development process
? Highly self-motivated with strong multi-disciplinary background and be able to
multi-task in an ambiguous environment.
? This person should enjoy a high-energy atmosphere in which tasks can be
accomplished simply, and directly.
? Fluent in English: verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill.
? Good knowledge of graphics and spreadsheet software applications.
? 10+ years of working experience, with SPMP qualification and across sites program
management experience.
