Summary
The Plant Controller will lead the daily administration of the facility’s accounting and finance activities, providing support through financial analysis as well as continuous improvement of the Accounting function. The Plant Controller provides timely and accurate accounting and finance services, ensures an adequate system of internal control is maintained, general ledger accounts are correctly stated and classified, and that financial reporting is prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for US MAnegerial reporting as well as Chinese Statutory reporting. The Controller also partners with multiple cross-functional team members and is an active participant of Finance Community.


Responsibilities:
· Manages a team of 4 to ensure accurate processing of AP, AR, Item Costing, and I/C revenue reporting.
· Leads the monthly reporting of results, creation of forecasts and the annual operating plan, supports strategic planning and projects and maintains accurate standard product costing processes.
· Oversees preparation of budgets, financial forecasts and weekly “pulses”.
· Prepares & Analyzes reports that outline the facility's financial position and performance in areas of productivity, expense management, working capital utilization, and project investment/return (CAPEX).
· Analyzes and accurately reports financial results to the plant and SBU management in accordance with corporate formats and time requirements.
· Provides guidance to plant management and staff using financial analyses/models of operations
· Actively participates as a member of the Plant Leadership Team and the PTL Controlling Team to provides overall financial guidance and share best practices across functions and teams.
· Using Lean tools, drives improvements in financial processes, including the appropriate use of automation, improvements in the quality and consistency of data and analysis, and elimination of non-value added work.
· Prepares financial analysis on plant efficiency and key performance indicators such as throughput, downtime, yields, rework, labor and presents numbers to plant management
· Protects the assets of the plant operation through a strong internal control environment

Requirements:
· B.S. in Accounting, Finance or related Business Concentrations.
· 5+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong numerical skills, analytical thinking, careful structured approach applying accounting acumen related to a manufacturing environment
· Proficient in Spoken English and fluent in written English.
· Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
· Flexibility to participate in Global calls and meetings.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability influence and coach teams towards financial objectives.
· SOX knowledge desirable, local expertise and leadership
· Familiar in the use of multiple MRP/ERP systems, experience with QAD or ERP Conversions a plus (expected system conversion within the next 24 months)
· Very good knowledge of Excel, HFM, data warehouses, and other business systems
· <10% travel required
