To plan, prepare and deliver an academic Physical Education and Health programme which facilitates an active learning experience for all students, in line with the mission and objectives of BIBS ? To assess, track and evaluate levels of progress and provide feedback to ensure that each child has the opportunity to succeed ? To manage the classroom environment so that it supports and encourages learning ? To always set high expectations, which motivate, challenge and encourage students ? To support the school’s image and profile PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND HEALTH PERSON SPECIFICATION Qualifications ? Quality degree from an established university ? PGCE/QTS or equivalent Knowledge and Experience ? 2 or more years of full time, school-based teaching experience ? Excellent working knowledge of Physical Education and Health ? Proficient Physical Education and Health Specialist with a relevant specialism ? Experience of working with children who have English as an additional language Personal Qualities ? Ability to inspire students with a love of learning ? Ability to develop and challenge all students so that each student can achieve their best in Physical Education and Health ? Ability to understand the needs, challenges and opportunities of working within an international school community ? Willingness to contribute at all aspects of school life ?
