1. Position Overview
The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end human resources functions, including recruitment, employee onboarding, training coordination, performance management, and HR record-keeping. This role ensures compliance with company policies and local labor regulations while fostering a positive employee experience.
2. Key Responsibilities2.1 Recruitment & Onboarding
- Collaborate with hiring managers to draft job descriptions and identify talent requirements.
- Manage the recruitment process (e.g., posting jobs, screening resumes, scheduling interviews).
- Coordinate background checks and reference verifications.
- Ensure seamless onboarding of new hires, including documentation completion and orientation.
2.2 Employee Relations
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
2.3 Performance Management
- Support the annual performance review process by coordinating timelines and documentation.
- Track and report on performance evaluation completion rates.
- Assist in developing and implementing performance improvement plans as needed.
2.4 Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate internal/external training programs.
- Maintain training records and ensure employees complete mandatory certifications.
- Support the implementation of employee development initiatives.
2.5 Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure HR practices align with local labor laws (e.g., NMPA regulations for medical device companies).
- Assist in updating HR policies and procedures as needed.
- Conduct periodic audits of HR records for compliance.
2.6 Special Projects
- Support HR initiatives (e.g., organizational restructuring, culture-building activities).
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as requested by management.
3. Qualifications
3.1 Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
3.2 Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in human resources or a related role.
- Experience in the medical device industry or regulated environment is a plus.
3.3 Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR functions (recruitment, onboarding, employee relations).
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations (e.g., China Labor Contract Law, NMPA requirements).
- Proficient in using HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP) and MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including data privacy and confidentiality.
