Key Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshoot problems with automated plant equipment & utilities.
2. Coach maintenance team as well as production towards autonomous maintenance.
3. Develop and implement a strategic plan towards plant & productivity improvements.
4. Optimize PM procedures and practices.
5. Use metrics to guide efforts of the department.
6. Guide and support training program for mechanical & electrical trades.
7. Increase proactive maintenance.
8. Control maintenance budget and costs as well as plant engineering inventory.
9. Implementation of existing infrastructure improvement plan.
10. Use appropriate reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, and predictive technologies.
11. Executing automation, Energy conservation, Cost reduction, Expansion Projects.
12. Co coordinating with vendors for AMCs , services ,liaising with Purchase and making techno commercial proposals.
13. Authorizing & Document control of Engineering drawings for the unit.
14. Ensure maintenance department follows safe working practices complying to GMP.
15. ISMS implementation and maintenance.
16. To ensure that all team members, concerned contractors and third party users understand and follow the Information Security Policies and Procedures.
17. To carry out the related responsibilities authorized by Information Security Policies.

Education/Experience:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute
2.Worked at least 7-8 years in the engineering function a mass production plant with automated equipment.
3.At least 2 years in a lead role in the engineering department
4.Under 40 years old
5.Exposure to Software based maintenance /planning systems
6.Exposure to TPM, Safety & Quality Standards, Six Sigma
