Job Description
1, Be responsible for new product quotation during development phase, costing includes product unit cost, project investment, product development cost etc, communicate with customer for commercial topics before project nomination by customer.
2, Independently perform as leader of New Project including development and industrialization till mass production, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality & compliance standards.
3, Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (key account,R&D, engineering, supply chain, and quality teams) to clarify customer needs, coordinate and join project meetings with different organizations both internally and externally
4, Develop detailed project schedule including milestones (e.g., prototype completion, certification testing, mass production readiness), task breakdown (WBS), and resource allocation (human, budget, equipment).
5, Proactively identify potential project risks (e.g., supply chain disruptions for key parts, design changes impacting timeline) and develop mitigation plans
6, Monitor project progress against the approved plan; track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as timeline adherence, budget variance, and quality pass rates
7, Support the transition of products from development to mass production; coordinate with the production team to hand over technical documentation, ensure production readiness, and address initial production issues.
8, Others nominated by head of department.
Experience Requirement
1, Education: Bachelor degree or above, mechanical and engineering background
2, Work experience:
Min.8 years of project management experience or key account management experience, both are preferred.
Experience of working with EU/US team is must.
Experience of consumer goods/medical product NPI is preferred.
3, Very good English skills including oral and wirtten English, handle meetings with customer directly.
4, Good skills of MS office
5, Good communication skills with different Departments/Organizations, including team overseas, know well different cultures.
6, Good knowledge of project management, PMP certificate is preferred; Good background in new product development and technology in plastics、metals、packaging、electronics and other fields
7, Sensitive with product costing, be familiar with part price level, inlcuding plastic part, metal part, motor, battery and PCBA, package etc.
8, High sense of responsibility, logical thinking, pressure-resistant, team-work spirit, passion to make successful project.
