Educational Background
· A bachelor or above degree in radar/electrical/software engineering, computer science or equivalent
Technical Skills
· An excellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technology
· A high level of knowledge and considerable experience in:
o Topologies and operational modes of automotive radar systems
o Advanced microwave circuit technology, RF PCB development and antennae design
o Semiconductor technology for microwave applications
o Computer tools for RF circuit design and simulation
o Basic automotive electronics development
o Basic radar signal processing in multi-channel, multi-target applications
o High level of understanding of technical systems in general
o System requirements collection, requirement analysis and management
o System requirements allocation
o System architectural design and system specification
o Skilled in FMEA

Responsibilities
As a member of the Radar Technology Development team, you will lead the software and algorithm development for automotive radar platforms. You will analyze internal and external requirements, define the software and algorithm architecture and derive the design. Your main tasks will be:
· Elaboration of system requirements with external and internal stakeholders.
· Define system architectures with radar hardware specialist for fulfilling the requirements, identification and reporting of aspects (weaknesses) which require the development of new technical solutions as part of our technological roadmap.
· Cooperation with other engineering teams to facilitate the product or product concept development.
· Elaboration of solutions for targets that have been defined in our technology roadmap.
· Setup and maintain the software and algorithm architecture and the specification
· Definition of test scenarios and test cases, to allow us to have a managed product maturity in each phase.
· Communicate with customers, suppliers and external R&D partners.
· Present/decompose complex technical problems for non-technical stakeholders
