The Asia Buyer will manage area day to day purchasing activities, execute the purchasing process in support of the production and sourcing functions of Oatey US plants and distribution center, responding to procurement needs on a timely basis, expediting the procurement cycle and process, and ensuring compliance to the required standards, policy, and / or process.
Necessary Experience:
1.1-3 years working experience in purchasing role, international trade experience is a plus.
2.Familiar with local suppliers, plumbing industry experience is desirable.
3.Experience with SAP system, EDI is a plus.
4.Experienced with inventory management, logistics and distribution.
5.Must possess strong communications skills, both verbal and written;
6.Good English communication skill, both written and conversational.
7.Ability to work within timelines and pressure situations, handle multiple and competing priorities, and generate fresh ideas.
8.Advanced knowledge of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project.
9.Education and Certification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS in Supply Chain or Engineering)
