Principal responsibilities
- Manage and drive end-to-end project starting from inception to project closure. Manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications and budget.
- Manage the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.
- Work closely with the key stakeholders to ensure project progress, risks, financials are managed to align with HSBC’s ways of working.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery of milestones & identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business user requirements.
- Ensure the tasks delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
- Design, develop automated test cases during development process and make sure the test cases are incorporate into the daily build process.
- Participate in the system integration activities with other teams and make sure the solution complies with group architecture policies and standards.
- Adopt and provide ongoing improvement on development process and promote usage of right tooling.
- Work closely with other IT teams on joint development and maintenance systems.
- Provide support on production case.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years hands-on development experience in Agile model,Fiderssa & SEC product.
- Hands-on experience in Linux scripting.
- Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools, such as GitHub, ...
- Experience in databases and proficient in SQL.
- Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
- Strong analytical, design and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
