1. JOB DESCRIPTION Purpose
This post provides specific expertise, instruction, demonstration, and technical facilitation / support in assigned areas of digital production, including skills instruction and facilitation in equipment use, visualisation and design. The role includes providing student support and troubleshooting.
To take responsibility for the safe working and supervision of students working in the studios and also to provide a comprehensive programme of skills inductions, support to the assessment and competence of students in the use of particular software and equipment (including Mac and PC hardware, and software to include Rhinoceros, Keyshot, Solidworks, Gravity Sketch, Fusion 360 and image-making and image-manipulation tools in the Adobe suite).

3 Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provides specialist digital technical expertise to students and staff with the use of industry standard specialist software, equipment, workflows and processes, advising on relevant techniques and assisting with preparation of teaching aids and resources.
2. Organises and undertakes a full programme of skills induction for students and staff (as required) throughout the academic year, providing skills sessions in assigned areas
3. Liaise with academic staff to determine timetabling and use of workshops and studios.
4. Undertakes the installation, maintenance, and servicing where appropriate of all relevant equipment used in the workshops, labs, and studios, liaising with external bodies, as necessary.
5. Ensures that the financial implications of using or developing resources in the workshops and studios are fully evaluated, recommending alternative options where appropriate, evaluating
and testing equipment for acquisition, providing advice to the management team as necessary.
6. Responsible for ensuring methods and systems of working in workshops and studios are safe.
7. Keeps up-to-date with digital media trends, technologies and developments sharing new ideas with the school.

任職資格：
1，相關(guān)專業(yè)榮譽(yù)學(xué)位?；蛉绻袑I(yè)實(shí)踐或行業(yè)背景：在相關(guān)領(lǐng)域有持續(xù)的、適當(dāng)水平的行業(yè)經(jīng)驗(yàn)。

3，在數(shù)字制作工作流程（制作和后期）和設(shè)計(jì)方面具有豐富的經(jīng)驗(yàn)和技術(shù)技能。
