We are looking for an excellent individual to join our South of China setup (Guangzhou/Shenzhen preferred) as business development manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Actively prospect and leverage potential new clients;
- Plan approaches, sales calls and meeting with potential clients taking into consideration specific needs and requirements of the account;
- Prepare quotation and proposal to prospects;
- Handle and turn around objections, propose value and foster partnership with clients in the daily work;
- Cultivate strong, long-term relationship with key decision makers within the account;
- Communicate with our internal operation department, providing precise information regarding clients’ need, requirements and our solutions;
- Be aware of competitors activities and adapt tactics to meet market/account demands.
Profile
? Verifiable experience in business development with a strong track record of proven deal achievements (freight forwarding industry only);
? MED, BSEA experience required. Italy and Spain preferred
? Effective networking, communication and presentation skills;
? Able to stick to targets and objectives agreed with management;
? Well organized, loyal and result oriented;
? Motivated to work independently and able to overcome rejections;
? Strong questioning and listening skills;
? Fluent in English and Chinese;
? An established portfolio of clients (MED) will be considered a plus;
? Available to travel in South of China provinces.
