This exciting role offers opportunity to:
● Enhance the global and Region policy implementation and risk management
● Procurement of indirect Category & Commodities (MRO, Facility Services, Packaging, and other service etc.) for Eaton through bidding, benchmarking, and negotiation;
● Collaborates with stakeholders to achieve assigned special projects and or initiative outcomes
● Supplier base development, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels;
● In compliance with Eaton procurement policy and T&Cs; Monitors and reports Operations’ compliance to service agreements and strategy
● Assist all functions in negotiating long term contracts to ensure optimal supply and cost structures as well as filling
● Data collection and analysis with accuracy, with ERP system maintenance if need.
● Support APAC indirect manager to establishes and leads regional/country cross-functional, multi operation supplier selection process teams
● Keep efficient communication within user department and SCM interfaces
● Liaison with all levels of Eaton businesses and external vendors/suppliers whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships;
● Eaton System monitor and maintenance, to keep the data accuracy (CODB, e-Room etc.)
● Drive IDM annual goal achievement(COST out, DPO, ECOOTHI etc)
● Communicate among related functions to effectively resolve purchasing issues and maximize customer satisfaction;
● Supervision the site Indirect Purchasing team . Provide guidance and people management.
Requirement:
● Bachelor’s degree or above.
● At least 8 years related working and 5 years+ management experience;
● Have understanding of the business unit needs at a sub-regional level
● Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and end user expectations
● Possesses strong negotiation and supplier management skills
● Ability to develop and negotiate effective commercial contracts on behalf of Eaton.
● Maintains awareness of other functional roles and responsibilities and how they support Corporate and business objectives
● Possesses intimate knowledge of labor industry trends and risks
● Has e-Procurement implementation experience;
● Understands international tax, duty, tariff implications for global commodities;
● Fluent English;
