OVERALL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
As a Quality Control Engineer at Savic
Motorcycles, you will be responsible for managing quality across the entire
production process, from incoming material inspection to final product
delivery. You will ensure that all materials, in-process assemblies, and
finished goods meet company standards and industry regulations while
maintaining and optimizing quality assurance systems. Your role will also
involve overseeing laboratory equipment maintenance and supporting corrective
actions for quality issues.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Incoming Quality Inspection: Inspect incoming materials upon arrival with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure compliance with specifications. Collaborate with suppliers to address recurring quality issues and support supplier quality improvement initiatives.
2. Storage Quality Control: Conduct periodic inspections of stored materials and maintain quality conditions in the warehouse.
3. Process Quality Monitoring: Oversee production quality during the assembly process, identifying and correcting nonconforming work. Perform root cause analysis for quality failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
4. Finished Goods Inspection: Perform final inspections on completed motorcycles before packaging and delivery.
5. Rework Management: Track and manage all rework items to ensure quality issues are resolved before final delivery.
6. Equipment & Laboratory Management: Operate, maintain, and calibrate inspection and testing equipment, ensuring all tools are in proper working condition.
7. Preventive Measures: Identify potential quality risks and propose corrective and preventive actions. Analyze inspection data and prepare statistical quality reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
8. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare quality reports for management.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager to ensure seamless quality control processes.
10. English Communication: Demonstrate good listening, reading, and writing skills in English, with basic spoken communication abilities.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, quality management, or related field preferred.
2. Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within manufacturing.
3.Proficiency in quality tools such as root cause analysis, SPC (Statistical Process Control), and use of gauges/calipers.
4.Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management systems.
5.Strong analytical skills for interpreting quality data and driving process improvements.
6.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
7.Good English listening, reading, and writing skills; basic spoken English.
8.Proficiency with inspection tools and ERP systems.
