Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of advanced wireless strategies, focusing on RF performance, conformance, regulatory, and design verification across multiple complex projects.
Oversee wireless system activities, ensuring adherence to global standards such as 3GPP, IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth SIG, and EMVco, along with regional regulatory requirements.
Drive the pre-certification and official certification processes for wireless products, including test execution, debugging, and coordination with certification bodies.
Lead performance evaluation and risk identification processes for wireless hardware during early development and manufacturing stages.
Collaborate closely with hardware, software, regulatory, and certification teams to troubleshoot issues, verify fixes, and ensure product readiness.
Mentor and guide engineers and contractors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
Represent the wireless engineering function in cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices organization-wide.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of relevant experience in wireless engineering, covering RF systems, test development, system validation, wireless certification, and regulatory compliance.
Extensive knowledge of wireless standards and certification processes, including 3GPP, IEEE 802.11, Bluetooth SIG, and EMVco.
Proven leadership abilities in cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in wireless system validation, RF parametric testing, or wireless certification.
Demonstrated experience with wireless certification processes and global launching of wireless consumer products.
Advanced proficiency in test plan development, execution, and data analysis for developing and validating new test infrastructure.
Expertise in supporting the automation of wireless testing processes and working with wireless test infrastructure.
Experience working with global teams and supporting products for international markets.
Proficiency in Mandarin and English language.
