-Responsibilities of contractor quality control engineers and other inspection personnel as assigned
-Responsible for the technical and other pertinent documents as directed.
-Implements quality control procedures and establishes detailed schedules for on-site inspection activities
-Within assigned area,monitors the operations for adherence to project plans and equipment for quality control compliance.
-Monitors contractor and contractor's suppliers workmanship,installation of material and equipment for quality control compliance
-Performs inspection functions in accord with inspection plan and monitors inspection duties assigned to contractors and reviews results of inspection
-Inspects and documents acceptances on construction activities and installations participates in quality assurance audits or activities covered by corporate /project QA program/plans
-Reviews and reports on selected engineering and procurement documents to assure the inclusion of applicable quality requirements
-Reviews and reports on quality documents of assemblies for conformance to specification and quality requirements.
-Reviews and comments on selected quality control inspection plans.
-Prepares quality assurance audit checklists
-Follows up on action taken in response to audit findings to assure adequacy of completed corrective actions
Minimum Requirements:
-3 + years experience in large construction company or multi-national engineering company or project
-Familiar with international engineering and project execution procedures
-Experience with field quality control/quality assurance
-Degree in mechanical engineering.
-Knowledge of the quality assurance principles and their application to engineering,environmental,procurement,construction testing or operations Experience in welding quality control and NDE
-Ability to coordinate Government inspections
-Good knowledge of international and Chinese standards and codes
-Proficient in applicable software of word,excel,etc.
-Be able to communicate in English
-Effective communication and coordination skills
-Self-motivated and ability to work independently
-Excellent team-work spirit
