Job Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned SAP SD Consultant with strong experience in Variant Configuration (LO-VC) to support our global implementation and support projects. The ideal candidate should have deep functional knowledge of SD processes integrated with VC, and be able to work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and other functional teams to deliver robust, scalable SAP solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) with Variant Configuration (VC).
· Design and maintain complex product models, characteristics, classes, configuration profiles, and object dependencies.
· Work closely with business teams to understand configurable product requirements and translate them into SAP VC models.
· Customize pricing, order processing, shipping, billing, and output determination based on configurable products.
· Integrate VC with other SAP modules (MM, PP, CRM, and APO as applicable).
· Handle issues related to sales order processing for configurable materials and resolve them efficiently.
· Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementations, rollouts, and support projects.
· Work on change requests, enhancements, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and documentation.
· Provide training to key users and support business during go-live and hyper-care phases.
· Collaborate with ABAP developers for custom development related to VC and SD functionalities.
Required Skills:
· 9+ years of experience in SAP SD, with at least 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC).
· Strong understanding of SD master data, sales orders, pricing, billing, delivery processing, credit management, etc.
· Proven ability to build complex configurable product models using characteristics, classes, dependencies (procedures, constraints, preconditions, selection conditions).
· Experience in multi-level configuration and knowledge of knowledge-based configuration (KBE) is a plus.
· Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA VC environment is highly desirable.
· Strong integration experience with MM, PP, FI/CO, and E-commerce platforms.
· Experience working with IDOCs, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits related to SD and VC processes.
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· SAP SD/LO-VC certification is a plus.
· Experience in SAP CPQ or integration with third-party configurators is an added advantage.
· Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Solution Manager, or Azure DevOps.
