POSITION SUMMARY(職位概述)
The (sr.) Procurement Specialist needs to join category sourcing strategies development and implementation for the assigned indirect services spend categories, mainly for Booth/creativity/Media/Consulting & MR/Printing categories. This associate gathers business requirements and other key inputs for China business for the strategic sourcing process. This associate needs to drive sourcing process including bid/buy analysis, supplier selection and negotiation planning, and selected implementation activities including procurement aspects of supplier qualification and implementation.
This associate shall have established market intelligence on MKT categories and have enthusiasm to bring value and innovation to business. He or she will contribute to the category strategy establishment with high alliance with Business to drive business growth.
This associate shall have daily engagement with BD stakeholders and handle complaints or feedbacks from BD stakeholders to better support business needs. He or she is also responsible for daily PO transactions and contract process of related categories.
The Procurement Specialist shall do supplier relationship management. The Procurement Specialist also handles a wide range of two-way communication with and in support of site procurement including, but not limited to approval of new supplier additions, confirmation on pricing inquiries, communication of changes for contracted items in area of responsibility, first level of escalation on supplier issues.
Performance is measured against agreed cost savings and value targets as well as proficiency in the use of the applicable tools for the strategic sourcing process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES(主要職責)
?Leads implementation of selected aspects of approved sourcing strategies for assigned categories, which may include market intelligence knowhow and analysis, bid formulation, execution and analysis, supplier selection and negotiation, contracting, and selected implementation activities including procurement aspects of supplier qualification and implementation
?Negotiation of supplier contracts, insuring availability for materials or services at optimum quality and cost levels
?Actively involved in stakeholder engagement through understanding and meeting business needs and requirements through sourcing team activity. Provide consultancy to internal stakeholders with regard to inquiries related to procurement policy, MSA, and suppliers. Deliver procurement relatged training or knowledge sharing to key stakeholders periodically. Conduct regular communication with the key stakeholders and provide suggestions for best practice and market trends.

?Conduct preferred supplier QBR and drive supplier management and continuous improvement activities for assigned spend area
?Carry out any data retirieval, analysis and presentaiton required, mapping and idenify the improevement on category management through the data analysis. Share the strategic insights to achieve productivity by deep diving spend data, benchmarking industrial best practice and monitoring user behaviors etc.
?Ensure adherence to the BD Procurement Policy, Directive, Guidelines and local Procurement SOPs.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES(技能)
1.4-6 years of related work experience within MNC in procurement, including strategic sourcing, supplier management and contract management.
2.Familiar with marketing related category know-how and have related category insights
3.Result oriented
4.Strong analytical and communication skills, quick learning skills.
5.Purchasing process knowledge including development, execution and analysis of RFI’s, RFP’s and RFQ’s, and e-auctions
6.Excellent project management and problem solving skills
7.Ability to influence without direct authority and in a matrix environment
8.Bachelor/Master Degree in business, commercial, engineering, SC, finance, etc. Management Trainee program background is preferred
9.Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
10.IT Systems – SAP/Ariba experience and procurement tools as an advantage
11.Good computer skill (PPT, Excel, Word)
