Job Responsibilities:
Operational Management
· Oversee day-to-day operational activities for all China-based principals handled by the Goodrich
agency.
· Ensure smooth coordination between principals, port authorities, terminals, transporters, and
internal teams for vessel arrivals, berthing, cargo discharge/loading, and delivery.
· Monitor performance KPIs such as vessel turnaround time, cargo handling efficiency, and cost control.
· Ensure timely and accurate documentation for all import/export activities.
· Handle escalations and operational challenges proactively with a problem-solving approach.
Inventory & Equipment Control
· Maintain accurate tracking of container inventory (import/export, laden/empty, off-hire/on-hire) for
all China principals.
· Ensure equipment utilization, stock management, and repositioning are optimized to minimize idle
time and storage costs.
· Liaise with depots, transporters, and lines to reconcile inventory records and ensure data accuracy.
