Thanks to a strong design and marketing team based in France, KB Fashion became an important supplier on the European market, having both ties with boutique brands and mass distribution actors.
In 2022 the company opened its Chinese subsidiary in Guangzhou (Jey Jey Textile ltd), so as to develop its own export business and strengthen its control over the whole supply chain.

In order to keep up with the current business development trends, we are hiring a fabric merchandiser specialised in wovens fabrics.

Job description
Merchandiser specialised in fabrics, mainly outerwear, fashion wear, home wear and home textiles.
Source fabrics, order fabrics and follow up from lab dips to bulk; check weight, treatment and fabric quality, in office and randomly in factories.
Negotiate fabric prices based on raw materials market trends and strong benchmark.
Liaise with fabric mills, garment manufacturers and the merchandising team.
Candidate with a technical understanding of spinning, weaving, knitting, dying and embellishment or with strong experience in textiles industry will be favoured.

具備紡紗、織造、針織、染色及裝飾工藝技術(shù)知識，或在紡織行業(yè)擁有豐富經(jīng)驗者優(yōu)先考慮。

Requirements:
- Bachelor degree major in Textile industry and/or strong technical and industrial experience
- At least 5 years work experience in textile industry
- Candidates with technical background will be preferred
- Skilful in communication and negotiation
- Ability to read and write in English is a strong asset for the job
- Rigorous, positive, careful with details
- High sense of responsibility and customer service orientated mindset.
