As a Business Development Assistant at Métiers Consulting, you will play a vital supporting role within the Business Development team. You will work closely with BD Managers to drive growth, organize market information, and contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance client engagement and market presence.
Your Missions
Market Research & Client Information Management
Assist in conducting market research to identify industry trends, potential clients, and new business opportunities.
Organize and maintain client databases, ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
Prepare client profiles and summary reports to support BD Managers in strategic outreach and relationship building.
Business Development Support
Help prepare presentations, proposals, and meeting materials for client engagements.
Support the coordination of client meetings, events, and follow-up communications.
Monitor competitor activities and market developments to provide actionable insights to the BD team.
Administrative & Operational Assistance
Assist in tracking business development activities and pipeline progress.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover and client onboarding support.
Contribute to the preparation of performance reports and business planning documents.
Your Profile
We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and analytically minded individual who is eager to learn and contribute to a growing business development function.
Minimum Requirements
1+ year of experience in a business support, market research, administration, or assistant role, preferably in consulting, engineering, IT, or related industries.
Strong analytical skills and an ability to synthesize information into clear summaries.
Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, with fluency in English for professional communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and comfortable working with data.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and collaborate effectively within a team.
Keen observation skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and contributing.
Nice-to-Have
Basic understanding of Engineering, IT, Manufacturing, Energy, or Shipbuilding sectors.
Previous exposure to CRM tools or business intelligence platforms.
Experience in a consulting, staffing, or technical services environment.
