Job Target
- Regional Leadership: Lead the China purchasing
team to execute localized strategies aligned with global standards,
optimizing regional supply chains. - Cross-Regional Collaboration: Foster synergy
between China and global purchasing teams to consolidate resources,
standardize processes, and share best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning &
Execution
- Analyze China market trends, develop supplier
evaluation frameworks, and implement cost-optimized purchasing
strategies. - Lead local supplier negotiations, consolidate
annual material demands, and secure optimal pricing and delivery terms.
2. Supplier & Cost Management
- Build a China-focused supplier matrix, identify
alternative suppliers, and drive technical/quality improvements.
o Supplier panel development focuses
on supplier chain resilience, best commercial competitiveness andsustainability
o "Out of China" supplier development to mitigate the US tariff and Geopolitics risk
- Monitor regional cost structures, lead budgeting
processes, and deliver / excel cost saving targets.
3. Process Optimization &
Integration
- Streamline China procurement workflows, ensure
data transparency, and support global database standardization.
4. Team Leadership
- Oversee recruitment, performance evaluations,
and capability development for the China procurement team.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in direct
material procurement, with expertise in regional (China)
operations and global commodity management; Electronics related experience required. - Competency:
- Data-driven
Decision Making: Proficiency in market analytics tools
(competitor benchmarking, customer profitability models), - Ambtious: Drives
impactful initiatives and is eager to exceed goals while contributing to
