QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Degree Holder in HVACor Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum 2+ yearspost graduate experience in the Construction Industry
  • Relevantexperience in the following sectors would be a distinct advantage:
    • Mission criticalfacilities such as data centres or banking fit-out
    • High-end commercialoffice fit-out projects
    • Laboratoryfacilities
  • Experience ofworking with international Clients
  • Computer literateand have experience of industry design software such as CAD, BIM, CFD, AMTECHetc.
  • Experience in design,site supervision and testing and commissioning of HVAC systems
  • Good knowledge ofGB Code and international standards (e.g. ASHRAE) for HVAC and fire protectionsystems
  • Experience, andinterest, in related fields such as Electrical and Plumbing and Drainage wouldbe of benefit
  • Good people skillsand time management skills
  • Good written andspoken English skills
  • Ability to workindependently with limited supervision from seniors
    ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The engineer wouldbe expected to work autonomously a lot of the time, with limited supervisionfrom senior engineers, and would therefore need to be highly motivated toachieve the level of quality and work expected of him/her.
  • Report directly toa senior engineer and work to achieve satisfactory conclusions from a highlyresults-driven organization
  • The role involvesa significant amount of site-based working, as well as travel within and outsideof China.
  • Projects mayinvolve design, site-supervision, testing & commissioning or a combinationof those roles
  • Participate indesign and construction meetings with Client, contractors, vendors and otherproject team members.
  • While we endeavourto maintain a good work / life balance, the reality of the constructionindustry is that occasional overtime and evening and weekend work may berequired subject to project requirements and deadlines
  • Maintain goodrelationships and communication with colleagues, Clients and other stakeholders
  • Maintain goodtechnical knowledge of the industry and relevant M&E design and industrystandards
