This role is expected to not only provide routine financial reports for performance review & analysis, but also deliver business finance support to China Distributor Business/Key account in the highly competitive market. This will require the candidate to use strong analytical tools to integrate financial data and business outlook/market dynamics to generate meaningful reports & highlights, and further support business leaders to generate actionable initiatives.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Business Performance Monitoring & Commercial Partnership – 30%
- Track and evaluate the financial performance by different dimensions with region/product/customer, including sales, costs, and profitability
- Identify trends, opportunities and risks, and recommend appropriate actions to drive business growth and improve financial performance
- Work closely with the commercial and pricing teams to provide financial support and guidance in decision-making related to pricing, promotions, sales deduction
- Participate in the development and evaluation of business cases for new projects and initiatives
- Quarterly customer profitability review with commercial to drive for performance improvement.
- Enhance Distributor governance process with clear approval guidelines and execution on how Distributors’ rebates, CAPEX and OPEX investments will be managed locally.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis – 35%
- Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the business objectives of the company
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, to provide accurate and timely financials insights.
- Support SAC go live and streamline of reporting & analysis.
- Lead Business Cashflow optimization and improve cash efficiency by working with commercial, SC and accounting.
3. SG&A management – 20%
- Perform in-depth analysis on overall direct SG&A actual, forecast, budget reporting
- Perform the SIP calculation and verification based on key metrics and actual performance
- Partner with commercial/marketing team to manage the overall advertising/sales promotion budgeting/KPI set up/activity pre and post audit
4. Internal Control – 15%
- Provide independent, objective evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of China’s risk management and governance processes
- Drive on enhancement of Regulatory & Controls by working with Legal, commercial and operation team.
Job Qualifications:
- Majored in Finance, Accounting or economics
- At least 10 years+ in Finance area, with business partnering experience and expense management
- Skilled in Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Skilled in analytical tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Experience with internal control and business governance
- Skilled communication in English
- MBA/CPA/ACCA/AICPA/CMA is a plus.
- Workable English and Sophistication in ERP system.
- Fluent English both verbal and writing.
