Responsibilities and Main Tasks:
1. New Product Industrialization
- AE & PE CAM Interface for new customer & new product introduction related to his/her function area;
- Manage/Lead technical gap & risk analysis including mitigation actions before new sample start;
- Escalator to TD if gap beyond current process/machine optimization capability.
2. PQ Sample Management
- Responsible for planning/providing technical representative for TFC, parameters setup, sample build monitoring and well-being;
- Build Recipe Working Group and maintain its effective function;
- Improvement on qualification cost saving;
- Manage technical setup for new sample build within his/her function area;
- Lead technical discussion with internal supplier and customer related to his function area;
- Lead cross functional team to resolve technical related issue affecting sample build;
- Interface to NPI team for sample build review;
- Provide technical feedback for customer inquiries during sample phase.
3. HVM Readiness
- Lead technical related readiness and process/parameters lock-in;
- Lead technical related yield improvement and alignment with stakeholders.
4. New Machine/Process/Material Introduction
- Interface to TD for new machine/process and material introduction;
- Lead new machine/ process/material optimization related to new products;
- Lead new machine/ process/material handover to plant owners.
5. Day to day Key Responsibilities
- Function area disciplinary and functional superior;
- Function area technical team daily activities;
- Monitor and act on function area daily technical sample related issues;
- Sample Engineering Deliverables and product readiness;
- Handover planning and execution to production;
- Attend operation meetings and other sample related alignments.
6. Other Responsibilities
- Counterparts to Quality Manager for function area sample quality related topics;
- Counterparts to Operation HoD for function area sample deliverable related topics;
- Counterparts to CQM for function area technical related customer voice;
- Responsible for function area Sample Engineering team performance, discipline and well-being;
- Responsible for function area technical discussion/sharing with other Sample Engineering sites;
- Other responsibility assigned by function head;
- Plant specific responsibilities;
- Deputy to the manager of Sample Engineering SHA;
- Lead cross functional team for R&R definition post Aurora related to sample team;
- Lead Sample Engineering SHA for project and manpower transfer to Production;
- Lead Sample Engineering SHA for SSS project;
- Represent Sample Engineering SHA for plant level cross functional alignment.
Requirement:
1. University degree or high School (HTL) in mechanical or electrical engineering, chemistry or physics.
2. At least 3 years’ experience in PCB or Semiconductor industry.
3. Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
4. Good knowledge/understanding of the PCB, Semiconductor and electronic market.
5. Basic knowledge of quality standards (ISO/ IATF16949).
6. Familiar with quality tools like SPC, MSA, FMEA, PPAP, APQP….
7. Profitability Analysis, the ability to assess the profitability of different products or production lines, and to increase the overall profit of the department by adjusting production plans or optimizing resource allocation.
8. Financial Statement Interpretation, the ability to understand basic financial statements, particularly the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement, in order to evaluate the manufacturing department’s operational performance from a financial perspective. Communication with the Finance Department, The ability to communicate with the finance team and provide necessary production data to ensure the accuracy of budgets and financial statements, fostering collaboration between the manufacturing and finance departments.
