Job Description:
This candidate will be a member of Research Portfolio and Program Management (Research PPM) function. This position will work closely with portfolio and program managers as well as other Research functional stakeholders to drive and enhance process efficiency.
This candidate will facilitate portfolio and program managers to drive quality and efficiency of IND-enabling activities during Research to Early Clinical Development transition.
The candidate will facilitate portfolio and program managers to work with Finance, Procurement, Sourcing and IT functions to manage cost planning and control process and drive Finance Excellence projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform basic tasks such as maintaining and updating research portfolio, program and headcount summary and reports, assist in the preparation and polishing of research documents.
- Support portfolio and program managers and collaborate with program team members to plan and ensure transition from Research to Early Clinical Development on right and fast track, including but not limited to timeline management, progress tracking, and assistance in content planning and documents preparation.
- Support organization of portfolio and program meetings, coordinating the timeslot of key attendees and facilitating meeting preparation.
- Support portfolio and program managers on budget management activities, including but not limited to review process set-up, execution and optimization, facilitating Finance Excellence projects.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in life sciences.
- >2 years industry experience (pharmaceutical industry is a plus).
- Experience in managing research programs or IND-enabling activities in pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
- Excellent skill in written and oral communication in both English and Chinese.
- Must possess the highest degree of ethical standards and be able to deal with highly confidential research program data.
- Highly motivated, self-starter and can work in a changing and diverse environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good planning, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Good skills with Office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point).
