[Main Purpose]
1) Build up a strong quality assured supplier base for DeLaval factories and DCs which also can support other factories of DeLaval around the world following the global sourcing strategy.
2) As responsible person for NPI products introduced to supplier with clarifying the standards and specification as important part of “Design for Manufacturing".
3)To manage supplier quality performance by auditing suppliers based on input like Claims, PPMs and audit findings.
4) Work cross functionally within DeLaval to build supplier base with strong commitment to the principles of continues improvement.
[Primary Responsibilities]
1) Perform supplier’s risk assessment on quality and make sure the related corrective or mitigation actions are in place.
2) Participate in new supplier selection to ensure suppliers’ sustainability and competitiveness when introduced.
3) Ensure quality report of suppliers ready and on time including PPM, Claims, Supplier Audit result, 8D progress, IQC notifications, Audit findings follow-up, Etc
4) Manage and keep up to date the Supplier Audit Plan and follow up file. 5) Share the quality report to Sourcing on a timely base in line with Sourcing Summary requirements.
6) Managing supplier quality through the supplier’s quality reporting by performing Supplier Audit and the corresponding improvement plan.
7) Customer Claim handling due to supplier product quality issues.
8) Define quality level in SAP for IQC based on risks and assessment of the supplier quality performance.
9) Assess and support to apply Temporary Permission (TP) for nonconformities (NC) from suppliers in case needed.
10) Work with PMD, Measurement Engineer, Production Engineer related to clarify the needed specification and drawings requirement to supplier to make sure a good quality control plan is in place when new product introduced.
11) Participate and coordinate the Purchasing Parts PPS progress. 12) Assure the risks for new products can be monitor/controlled with proper quality control plan and related good quality system before new products delivered to DeLaval.
13) Participate in cross-functional team to drive continuous improvements.
14) Perform other duties assigned by line management. [Minimum Experience Required] 1) 5+ years of experience in supplier quality management including Supplier audit, Supplier improvement Etc. preferred with portion of the suppliers supply to global. 2) Strong technical understanding in drawing and specifications related with categories (Chemical/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Plastic/Surface treatment/ Traded / Others) and the related manufacturing processes depending on the job needs. 3) Very good understanding of quality management system like ISO9001/14001/TS16949 (preferred) 4) Good communication skills in local language and fluent in English, writing and verbally. 5) Discipline, Rigor and Teamwork spirit, Proactive and Self-driven. 6) Practical approach and systematic thinking 7) Cross functional team player and continues improvement driven 8) Reasonable product knowledge, process knowledge and mechanical or chemical knowledge depending on the Job needs. 9) Experienced on Supplier management especially on Quality. 10) Supplier audit experience/8D/Control Plan/FMEA 11) Practical experience in drive correction and problem solving based on root cause
