We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Manager to lead our regional technology operations and ensure seamless alignment with our global headquarters.
Job Summary
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Infrastructure Manager to oversee the complete technology infrastructure and end-user support for our regional office. This role requires a versatile leader responsible for the stability, security, and performance of our networking, server, and security systems. You will manage the local server rooms, lead the end-user support team, and ensure all regional operations strictly adhere to the policies and compliance standards set by our Hong Kong headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure Management & Strategy
· Lead the management, maintenance, and strategic planning of the regional office's core infrastructure, including infrastructure networking (LAN/WAN, switches, firewalls), server (physical and virtual), and security systems.
· Develop and implement local infrastructure initiatives that align with the global technology roadmap from HK headquarters.
· Ensure the high availability, resilience, and performance of all critical infrastructure components.
· Provide lead with team to troubleshoot the issue on infrastructure related areas such as network, server, user computing etc.
2. Team Leadership & End-to-End User Support
· Manage and mentor the local IT team, fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional service delivery.
· Oversee the end-to-end user support function, ensuring timely resolution of incidents, requests, and problems.
· Establish and monitor SLAs for user support and infrastructure services, driving continuous improvement.

3. Server Room & Operational Governance
· Assume full responsibility for server room management, including physical access, power, cooling, cabling, and hardware lifecycle management.
· Implement and enforce strict operational procedures for data center hygiene and security.
4. Policy, Compliance & Headquarters Alignment
· Work closely with headquarters in HK to implement and align with global IT policies, security standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all infrastructure-related audits, ensuring all findings are remediated promptly.
· Regularly report on regional infrastructure status, risks, and project updates to the headquarters leadership team.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within a multi-national corporation.
· Proven expertise in managing infrastructure networking, server, and security environments.
· Demonstrated experience in managing end-user support teams and data center/server room operations.
· Experience working in a subsidiary or regional office, with a proven track record of effectively collaborating with and reporting to a global headquarters. (Experience in the financial services industry is a strong advantage).
Required Skills & Competencies
· Technical Proficiency: Strong hands-on knowledge of network infrastructure (Cisco/Meraki), Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization (VMware, Sangfor, SmartX etc.), and cybersecurity principles.
· Vendor Management: Experience in managing third-party vendors and service providers.
· Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with local business units and senior management at headquarters.
· Governance & Compliance: A strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
· Leadership: A proactive leader with the ability to manage, develop, and inspire a technical team.
