· Conduct capacity forecasting and develop network growth strategies aligned with business and traffic demand projections.
· Evaluate new network deployments, upgrades, and optimization initiatives to enhance performance, scalability, and resiliency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, operations, and product) to support commercial and technical planning.
· Identify cost-effective solutions for network buildouts, working closely with vendors, carriers, and data center partners.
· Ensure network designs align with standards, compliance, and SLAs.
· Analyze network utilization and traffic patterns, providing input for investment and infrastructure decisions.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
· 3–5 years of experience in network planning, design, or engineering within the telecom or ISP industry.
· Solid understanding of IP/MPLS, DWDM, optical transport, and data center interconnect technologies.
· Experience with network planning tools, GIS mapping, and capacity modeling.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
· Familiarity with carrier-class infrastructure and vendor ecosystems; experience with dark fiber planning is a plus.
