Key Responsibilities:
? Provide technical support and troubleshooting for workstations, laptops, servers, and network equipment that normally operate within the Calgon Carbon network
? Perform password resets
? Set-up and maintain printers
? Provide support for standard software running on user workstations and laptops such as MS Windows MS Office365, and Lotus Notes
? Provide support assistance with server and network software, as needed by other Calgon Carbon IT resources, when necessary to perform planned maintenance activities or to address urgent issues
? Coordinate local procurement, as necessary, of hardware and software
? Perform workstation/laptop deployment, following Calgon Carbon IT standards for office locations and remote users in China and other parts of Asia.
? Maintain operational and user documentation
? Coordinate with hardware, software, telecommunications, and other service vendors for installation and troubleshooting activities.
Recommended requirements for the position:
? University Degree (Computer or IT related)
? 3-5 years of technical experience
? Customer service experience where primary duty included interaction with end-users
? Strong interpersonal skills with inclination to courtesy and professionalism
? Effective problem solving skills
? Ability to work independently and seek assistance when necessary
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
? Experience working in a team environment where collaboration was necessary
? Occasional travel required
