Responsibilities:
●Obtain the customers product application information via Sales or Internet, know about the specific requirement from customers; Familiar with the and manufacturing process and cost model with respect to the similar products; Provide feasible process design and cost information such as accurate yield rate, labor cost and so on.
●Based on the technical evaluation for customer’s requirement specifications, utilize company’s CMP system to do overall cost evaluation on customer orders after sufficient communications with both customers and sales. The cost should include raw materials, special tooling and fixtures, special consumables, etc.
●Timely reply to the customer’s inquiry; for those products hard to manufacture or over the company’s capabilities, if the customer still requires, summarize the internal evaluation proposals and provide the best alternative to the customer.
●According to the customer request, provide the design plan for customer.
●Keep communication with customers, improve the design and meet the customers’ requirements for performance and cost.
●According to the product characteristics and internal processing capabilities, draft and revise process files to regulate the processes in production. The documents include SOP, work process sheet, standard parameter sheet, process flow sheet, etc.
●Technical support for the customer, production line, sales department and supplier
●Cooperate with quality engineers to improve testing methods, measurement instruments and solve customer complaints.
Requirements:
●Masters degree or above, marjor in Optics, Optical Engineering etc.
●At least 2 years of working experience in optical Design, Preferred in Lens design such as micro-Objective lens Design, Laser scan lens design and camera lens design.
●At least 1 year experience in optical Lens sub-assembly, familiar with lens component manufacture and understanding the related tolerances definition.
●Familiar with Optical Design software such as Zemax or CODE V, CAD, Solidworks.
●Familiar with the characteristics, technical difficulties and applications of the key product in Semiconductor, life-science, Auto Drive and Laser Industry Related area.
●Strong customer-oriented awareness and good planning and organizational skills.
●Ability to comprehensively analyze and solve problems, with innovative ideas and strong sense of teamwork.
