Role Purpose Statement
As part of the Global Research team, this role will cover China agri-product related database management and able to gather, process and analyse data therefore to develop actionable steps
Main Accountabilities
? Ensure timely entry of necessary data and updates including but not limited to macro indicators/policy/trades done/price database maintenance/animal database input/crop etc.
? Understand livestock models based on animal nutrition and feed consumption and be able to use analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns and trends in the data.
? Continuously strive to improve information sources, find new ways of validating / challenging assumptions and work with other functions to enhance data management and analysis.? Stay connected to relevant market movements for both origin and destinations and prompt feedback to ad-hoc project
Education & Experience
? Bachelor degree or postgraduate with major in economics, statistics, mathematics or other professional qualification in a numerical subject. Fresh graduate or 1-2 years experience
? Logically rigorous and be interested to agribusiness and high level of attention to details.
? Strong learning ability and able to work under pressure and deliver timely results. ? Good interpersonal skills, both with team colleagues and stakeholders
? Excellent communication, analytical, relationship building and presentation skills
? Self-motivated, resilient and independent individual; objective thinker
