About the Company
Our company is expanding into multiple new business lines, including industrial manufacturing investments, mining projects, and advisory services for large-scale EPC projects. Senior management receives high-level international business leads and conducts initial screening. We now seek a Senior Business Development Manager to take these leads forward, coordinate follow-up actions, conduct due diligence, and turn opportunities into real, executable business.

Role Overview
This is a senior, high-visibility role working directly with top management.
The manager will be responsible for:
1. Systematically tracking, following up, and pushing business leads forward
2. Serving as a bridge between management and external partners
3. Conducting due diligence and preparing clear, concise business reports
4. Gradually taking on partial negotiation responsibilities as familiarity grows
5. Helping build a BD execution team once the business pipeline matures
Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, self-driven, analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in handling international business communication.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Management & Deal Progression
a. Receive and understand business leads from senior management
b. Track all opportunities with zero omissions
c. Organize and initiate internal follow-up meetings
d. Develop action plans and ensure timely progress of each project
e. Prepare meeting minutes, summaries, and weekly pipeline updates
2. Communication & Stakeholder Coordination
a. Maintain regular communication with external parties (investors, suppliers, project owners, government counterparts, partners)
b. Schedule and coordinate meetings and follow-up calls
c. Ensure professionalism, clarity, and responsiveness in all interactions
d. Assist management during high-level negotiations
3. Due Diligence & Business Analysis
a. Conduct initial due diligence on business leads across sectors
b. Analyze business models, feasibility, risks, and commercial logic
c. Prepare high-quality reports, investment briefs, and internal memos
d. Support management in decision-making with clear recommendations
4. Execution Support & Preparation for Negotiation
a. Assist in preparing proposals, term sheets, and draft structures
b. After on-boarding period, gradually take over parts of deal negotiation
c. Identify potential partners, risks, and opportunities
5. Team Development (Longer Term)
a. Support management in building a small BD execution team
b. Mentor junior staff when hired
c. Help establish internal systems and workflow standards
    Qualifications
    Education
    1. Bachelor's degree required; economics, business, engineering, or project management preferred
    2. Master’s degree is a plus
    Experience
    1. Minimum 8 years relevant experience in BD, project management, investment, consulting, or international business
    2. Experience handling cross-border projects strongly preferred
    3. Exposure to industrial investment, mining, or EPC sectors is an advantage
      Skills & Competencies
      1. Excellent command of English; Chinese or other languages are a plus
      2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
      3. Solid analytical ability and business writing skills
      4. Able to work with daily check-ins with senior management
      5. Highly organized, process-driven, and reliable
      6. Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset
      7. High resilience, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
