Key Responsibilities 1. Travel Agent Relationship Management (20%) · Conduct regular business reviews · Develop tailored engagement plans for top-tier agencies to accelerate product sales. · Address trade partner needs and resolve operational issues in collaboration with Trade Partnerships Manager.
2. Co-op Campaign Leadership (70%) · Design, negotiate, and implement end-to-end co-op marketing campaigns with partners (e.g., joint promotions, FAM trips, digital activations, trade incentives). · Manage campaign budgets, timelines, creative assets, and legal agreements. · Track campaign performance (ROI, lead generation, sales uplift) and deliver post-campaign reports with actionable insights. · Collaborate with Marketing Manager - Asia to align campaigns with brand initiatives.
3. Market Intelligence & Sales Growth (10%) · Monitor competitor activities and travel trade trends to identify new opportunities. · Provide trade feedback to shape product development and trade support tools. · Achieve annual targets for agent engagement, campaign participation, and incremental bookings. Qualifications & Skills Essential · 5+ years in travel trade sales/account management, preferably within an NTO/DMO, tour operator, airline, or travel agency. · Deep understanding of the travel distribution landscape in Greater China and broader Asia. · Proven success in planning/executing co-op marketing campaigns from brief to ROI analysis. · Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders. · Proficiency in interpreting sales data, market reports, and digital metrics. · Fluent English and Mandarin (written/spoken). · Willingness to travel across the region.
Desirable · Experience with CRMs (e.g., Salesforce) and trade marketing platforms. · Knowledge of tourism products and destination strengths.
