Job Responsibilities:?
Translation & Communication:? Provide accurate and timely translation (Chinese-English) of business documents as required; serve as the primary communication bridge between the company and overseas clients.
Product Analysis & Costing:? Gain in-depth product knowledge, independently analyze product composition, perform precise cost calculations, and generate competitive quotations.
Customer Service & Order Processing:? Professionally handle customer inquiries, resolve questions, and facilitate timely order placement; demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to address unexpected issues during order execution.
Production & Quality Monitoring:? Track production progress throughout the order cycle; coordinate internal production schedules; arrange and conduct pre-shipment inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and client expectations.
Export Documentation & Logistics:? Independently prepare accurate full sets of export documents (e.g., Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin); proactively source, manage freight forwarders, and coordinate shipping/booking arrangements to ensure safe and timely delivery to designated warehouses/ports.
Shipment Tracking & Payment Collection:? Provide timely updates to clients and freight forwarders on shipment status and logistics information; closely monitor and follow up on payments to ensure timely and clear fund receipt.
Document & Sample Management:? Systematically organize, archive, and maintain client files, contracts, order records, and samples ensuring completeness and easy retrieval.
Export Tax Rebate Processing:? Timely compile, verify, and submit complete documentation required for export tax rebates to the Finance department.
Qualifications & Requirements:?
Education:? Bachelor's degree or higher in International Trade, Business English, English, or a related field.
Language Skills:?
Fluent English (Professional Business Level):? Excellent written and spoken communication skills (equivalent to TEM-8 or IELTS 7.0+ required).
Proficient Mandarin Chinese.
Basic Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is a plus.
Experience:?
2-3 years of experience in export documentation, order follow-up, or a related field preferred.
Familiarity with B2B e-platform operations (e.g., Alibaba.com, Global Sources) and communication best practices.
Technical Skills:?
Solid understanding of Incoterms, export/import procedures, and international trade documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Basic financial acumen (payment terms, receipt reconciliation).
