We are seeking a Segment Marketing Manager for our Gene Therapy market segment solutions. The Segment Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy and tactics for the Gene Therapy segment. This role requires a strong understanding of the different development and manufacturing processes and workflows utilized in this market segment. Responsibilities range from preparing marketing and sales material related to the market segment, attending and presenting at Gene Therapy events, training company sales and BD teams, performing market research and analysis, and interacting with key opinion leaders. The Segment Marketing Manager will have the following key responsibilities:
Brand building and demand generation: - Work across the different life science divisions and collaborate extensively with the divisional marketing and R&D teams to understand the portfolio and key value propositions of the Genscript services and products and integrate them into the Gene Therapy portfolio - Collaborate with the regional marketing teams globally to prepare and execute a successful go-to-market strategy for the Gene Therapy portfolio - Utilize marketing tools and tactics to elevate the GenScript brand and generate demand for the portfolio
Customer insights - Keep abreast of the developments of the market segment. Maintain a good understanding of the products/services and technologies involved through customer discussions, analysis of publications and market reports, and attending conferences - Perform market research on needs, wants, pain points, and market trends for the assigned segment for creating new product and service bundles or guiding new product and services developments - Interact with industry leaders to understand future market trends - Prepare market research reports and communicate the market insights to the Product Marketing and R&D teams
Requirements: PHD’s degree in a biology-related field. Strong technical understanding of the techniques and processes utilized in developing Gene Therapies. Good communication and interpersonal skills are required. Marketing or business development experience preferred.
