1. Objectives and Purpose of Job
As Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the successful launch and post-launch management of a new ophthalmic product in the market, while preparing the groundwork for subsequent new launches in the ophthalmology portfolio. This role is critical to shaping and executing robust brand strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and delivering strong commercial outcomes in a dynamic market environment.
2. Key Activities and Responsibilities
? Launch Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and implement comprehensive launch plans for a new ophthalmic product, including positioning, segmentation, messaging, and tactical plans
o Manage timeline and budget, and work closely with Field Force, Global Marketing, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Legal and Compliance, and Industrial Affair to ensure successful launch of new products
o Design, execute and iterate marketing campaign to engage with key stakeholders to ensure listing success of new product
o Design, execute and iterate marketing campaign to foster engagement with KOLs and ophthalmologists to accelerate adoption of new product
? New Product Planning and Preparation:
o Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and customer insights gathering to build launch strategies for upcoming new products
o Develop and execute pre-launch programs and stakeholder engagement plans to ensure market preparedness
? Brand Management:
o Lead development of marketing materials and campaigns in alignment with global/regional guidelines
o Train field forces to ensure effective delivery of brand messages
o Monitor market dynamics and proactively adjust strategies to maintain competitiveness
o Manage promotional budgets and ensure effective allocation of resources
? Stakeholder Engagement:
o Engage with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), professional societies, and external agencies to amplify brand presence.
o Collaborate with field forces to ensure effective implementation of field activities and continuous feedback loops.
3 Education:
? Bachelor degree or above
? Major in medical, pharmaceutical, nursing and marketing preferred
4. Experience and Competencies:
? Minimum 3 years working in MNC pharma marketing
? Ophthalmology or chronic disease experience preferred
? New product launch experience is a plus
? End-to-end experience from ideation to execution of marketing campaign is a plus
? Experience in implementing market access campaign is a plus
