Job Summary: The STEM Lab Maker Space Technician plays a critical role in our international school by ensuring the safe and effective use of STEM lab facilities across all school levels. These spaces include one STEM Lab and two maker spaces. This position focuses on maintaining a secure learning environment, promoting the proficient use of specialized equipment, supporting technology-based projects that incorporate STEM subjects, and enhancing educational experience for all students.

Work Hours: 1. Around 90 days is a work schedule from 11:00 to 20:00, with two designated meal breaks, half an hour each. 2. The rest is on a work schedule from 8:00-16:30 with a half an hour lunch break.

REQUIREMENTS: Education: 1 Bachelor degree in engineering, Technology Education, or a related discipline. 2 Certifications in safety protocols and equipment operation preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 1 Two years minimum experience in a maker space, lab, or educational setting. 2 Proven experience with equipment such as laser cutters, 3D printers, drill presses, welding, and soldering tools.

Including cleanliness and order of the lab working area and equipment. 2 Maintain an up-to-date inventory of tools, materials, and supplies in STEM lab and maker spaces. 3 Manage the procurement and restocking of materials, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines. This includes purchasing materials and tools whenever necessary. 4 Assist teachers in the STEM Lab. 5 Assist students' projects and ECAs. 6 Set up laboratory demonstrations for regular classes.

After-School Activities: 1 Assist and supervise after-school STEM activities and clubs. 2 Assist and Implement STEM workshops and enrichment programs for students' safety and machine use. 3 Assist with events such as robotics competitions, drone activities, Maker Faire, Parent Bash, and other STEM-related events.
