As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and enthusiasm for driving our China specific development for providing the best Parking System to our customers. We are located in Beijing (Wangjing and Yizhuang) and Shanghai Pudong. Our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of the Autonomous Parking for Mercedes-Benz cars.
? As Parking System Function Owner in the Automated Parking product team, you are responsible for defining the detailed system elements for our product development, especially ensuring in-time and in-quality development of our internal and external (development) partners.
? You will design & develop MB Automated Parking Systems for China market together with RD teams in China, Germany, RD India and different suppliers and will take care of a set of advanced parking features, such as Memory parking, Park to Park, advanced remote parking, AVP/L4 Parking, etc.
? By designing the cross-overall system functions for these parking functionalities, we will fulfill the China and global regulation/rating/certification, China specific requirements, etc.
? You will work on overall system function issue detection and recognition, lead issue analysis and tech solution determination, and lead the tech strategy launch.
? You will lead the system function in vehicle testing based on your defined test cases and support the HIL/SIL testing and address the root causes and drive the issue fixing.
? Your will work in collaboration with China stakeholders like Marketing, Product management, China requirement, Quality, Overall Vehicle Testing and other internal Project teams on Chinese customer study and research, provide completive parking product to our customers.
Tasks:
Overview of System Functions
- Define System Functions based on functional requirements (e.g. Customer Function Effect Chains)
- Lead decomposition of Customer Functions into System Functions
- Define and consolidate information flow between system functions and to external systems.
- Ensure consistency overall Customer Function Effect Chains
- Lead allocation of System Functions and Function Elements to either External Systems, MB- or supplier-subsystem
System functional Design
- Define and provide the system function according to the architecture.
- Lead the definition of elements of the Functional Chains for the Customer Functions.
- Lead the state machine, longitudinal, lateral, vehicle state, connectivity, etc.. system design.
- Lead the interface and time sequence design for the system functions.
Methodology and Modeling
- Development of consistent methodology for System Function Management, Functional Architecture and System Boundary Definition
- Ensure traceability to requirements (DNG) and to other architecture levels: e.g. component level and SW-level
- Modeling of system function.
- Create and provide architectural views (e.g. functional view, System Boundary view)
- Development of methodology for modeling
Test & Verification
Lead the system function testing, track bugs and ensure fixation in time
? Master or above in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrial or Computer Science Engineering.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with automated parking systems, experience for L4 parking or L4-like function development will be preferred.
? Fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
? The ability of L4 parking system architecture (Physical, Logic Archi), system element component design, functional and non-functional design, SW architecture design experience is beneficial.
? Experience in vehicle ADAS related fields in OEM/Tier1, SOP experience/Parking function development experience would be preferred.
? Ability of requirement analysis, development and documentation , knowledge of requirement management.
? Know well of ADAS operating principle, regulation, development process and method, ASPICE, Fusa, SOTIF, Cyber security.
? Knowledge in EE components (USS, camera, radar, lidar), steering and braking system, architecture design, automotive bus system including Flexray, Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, etc. and familiar with diagnostic tools such as CANoe/Vehicle SPY3, etc.
? Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance. Self-motivated and able to prioritize conflicting demands effectively.
? Very organized, structured, and proactive in doing day and day work.
? Ability to solve problems, formulate a solution and drive this though to delivery in a validated manner.
? The ability to perform objective assessment of a system and log data from a vehicle network.
