As China is the growing market for passenger cars, we are currently looking for an experienced expert who shares the same passion and enthusiasm for driving our China specific development for providing the best Parking System to our customers. We are located in Beijing (Wangjing and Yizhuang) and Shanghai Pudong. Our development team is fully responsible and driving the development of the Autonomous Parking for Mercedes-Benz cars.
? ? As customer function owner of L4 parking, you are end2end responsible for the development of the L4 Parking development, leading a team of engineers in different locations to achieve the final product delivery and competitiveness.
? You will work closely with different domains within our RD teams around the world to coordinate/support China local and global parking system development and coordinate necessary parking verification, based on China/global local case and regulation as well as with local and global suppliers.
? You will work in strong collaboration with China stakeholders like Marketing, Regulations, Product management, V&V, Quality and other internal Project teams on Chinese customer study and research, provide competitive parking product to our customers.
You will take care about the requirement management, priorities, product quality and schedule as well as status reporting. You will be the communication channel to internal and external development partner in China, as well as our development partners at other Mercedes-Benz development sites all over the world
Tasks:
Define Customer Function Requirements
- Define customer function specifications.
- Define clear user flow and use cases.
- Define clear structured test cases and the KPIs.
- Ensure a competitive and regulations compliant customer function definition.
- Work in collaboration with China stakeholders like Marketing, Regulations, Product management, V&V, Quality and other internal Project teams on Chinese customer study and research, provide compective parking product to customers.
Feature Implementation
- Identify all development tasks, related system functions and requirements to partner components (ROV).
- Define feature rollout plan which considers the function maturity, certification, and EE integration milestones.
- Align with system function owners and ROV to ensure feasible solutions for feature implementation, coordinate on-time and on-quality deliveries on milestone, e.g. requirements to ROV, SF specs, communication matrix, etc.
Function Testing & Verification
- Lead joint testing: define customer function level test cases and KPIs, work with SFO/SW developers/ROV for each case realization and performance promotion.
- Analyze relevant data to identify defects and refine the requirements.
- Analyze and drive issues fix for relevant findings.
? Master or above in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrial or Computer Science Engineering.
? Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience with automated parking systems, experience for L4 parking or L4-like function development will be preferred.
? Fluent English language skills, German language beneficial.
? The ability of L4 parking system architecture (Physical, Logic Archi), system element component design, functional and non-functional design, SW architecture design experience is beneficial.
? Experience in vehicle ADAS related fields in OEM/Tier1, SOP experience/Parking function development experience would be preferred.
? Ability of requirement analysis, development and documentation , knowledge of requirement management.
? Know well of ADAS operating principle, regulation, development process and method, ASPICE, Fusa, SOTIF, Cyber security.
? Knowledge in EE components (USS, camera, radar, lidar), steering and braking system, architecture design, automotive bus system including Flexray, Ethernet, SOME/IP, CAN, LIN, etc. and familiar with diagnostic tools such as CANoe/Vehicle SPY3, etc.
? Ability to work under pressure with minimal guidance. Self-motivated and able to prioritize conflicting demands effectively.
? Very organized, structured, and proactive in doing day and day work.
? Ability to solve problems, formulate a solution and drive this though to delivery in a validated manner.
? The ability to perform objective assessment of a system and log data from a vehicle network.
? Excellent communicator and the ability to present technical ideas and issues to the stakeholders.

? Intercultural competence and communication skills with various hierarchy levels.
? Willingness to travel inside China and abroad.
