Based in Beijing’s Wangjing area—a vibrant tech hub—our entertainment team owns end-to-end development of not only China-specific digital ecosystems but also contributes to global infotainment innovations for Mercedes-Benz vehicles worldwide.
As a Product Manager within this team, you will take full ownership of the product lifecycle—from conceptualizing user journeys and validating technical feasibility, to writing user stories and delivering high-impact entertainment functionalities.
You will be responsible for requirement management, feature prioritization, product quality, timeline adherence, and executive status reporting.
Acting as a key liaison, you will collaborate closely with both internal and external development partners across China, as well as with Mercedes-Benz R&D teams around the globe, ensuring alignment and innovation at a worldwide scale.
? Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in developing entertainment functions (e.g., music, video, gaming, conferencing) for infotainment or digital cabin systems.
? Fundamental knowledge in the entertainment domain, such as streaming services, multimedia platforms, or interactive entertainment technologies.
? Experience in gathering customer requirements and translating them into the design and development of entertainment features.
? Hands-on experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and integrating user feedback to enhance entertainment functionalities.
? Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality entertainment features that meet customer expectations.
? Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make informed decisions.
? Fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies, including project planning and risk analysis.
? Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to define clear user stories for development teams.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex entertainment-related challenges and propose innovative solutions.
? Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
