Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle database administration, platform management and Azure.
The ideal candidate will lead the migration of on-premises databases to Azure, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
·Plan and execute migrations of MS SQL databases to Azure
·Utilize cloud native services/Tools and open-source tools, develop custom tools for large-scale data migrations.
·Develop & maintain terraform modules and patterns.
·Design and implement database migrations with minimal downtime and data integrity checks.
·Perform database performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues.
Qualifications:
·Demonstrated expertise in MS SQL database administration (DBA tasks) and platform management.
·Strong knowledge of database architecture and automation tools.
·Expert in terraform.
·AWS certification preferred.
·Good to have skills include knowledge of Postgres and MS SQL Server DBA tasks
Azure certification preferred.
