Responsibilities:
As the Talent and Culture partner, this position will be driving force behind our organization’s most valuable assets-people, talent and culture. The person will play a pivotal role in implementing and optimizing EssilorLuxottica talent initiatives in Asia while cultivating inclusive culture that aligns business strategy/objectives. The person will also need to work very closely with Asia country HR team, and country management team to deep-dive business/people needs and drive the results of different initiatives.
- Performance Management: Build up high performance culture through One Performance process champion, drive high performance culture, educate people manager on how to evaluate team and identify talents.
- Succession Planning: Following Global succession planning rules and tools, work with Asia country HR team to facilitate talent review/succession discussions to identify key talents and successors to critical positions. Analysis succession data to identify opportunities and define next steps to speed up successor readiness.
- Leadership Development: Address opportunities to initiate leadership development programs to build up leadership foundations at all levels in Asia.
- Talent Development: Well manage global talent program nominations and keep track the development of key talents in the country. Collect local talent development needs and collaborate with Asia COE team to design and implement local solutions/programs.
- Organization Effectiveness and Leadership: Identify and address organizational effectiveness opportunities, e.g. change management, building team trust, align team vision/goal, work with Asia country HR team to design solutions to support organization and business. Drive leadership development by leveraging resources of Global and Asia.
Requirements:
- Technical competencies: Functional knowledge, well understand talent management, development, performance management and employee engagement know-how and have on-hands practices.
- Project management: Solid project management experience.
- Organizational savvy: well understand matrix organization with a strong sense of engaging and managing key stakeholders.
- Culture sensitivity: have a good sense of cross culture difference, understand how to communicate with stakeholders based on cultural respect.
- Create trusted networks: Effectively navigates the organization, both horizontally and vertically, and leverages partnerships built over time to drive business results. Acts as a reference point for one’s area of expertise, building trust for both personal and team’s benefit.
- Communicate with Influence: Successfully provides relevant information and ensures continuous alignment both internally and cross-functionally. Influences colleagues or supervisors when presenting personal approaches or solutions.
- Champion the customer: Adopts a customer-centric approach both internally and externally. Provides the necessary tools and supports the team to anticipate customer needs and enable a successful customer experience.
- Thrive in change: Clearly understands when change is needed and proactively communicates to the team. Ensures that change is properly received and implemented, maintaining a positive climate within the team and leveraging the challenge for both team and personal growth.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organization Development, Business Administration or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certification will be a plus.

- Languages: Proficiency in both written and verbal English.
