Context and main missions:
As a key leader in quality management, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure LEM China achieves its defined
targets in alignment with LEM Group’s strategic goals. You will ensure that products are designed and manufactured in full
compliance with international regulations and customer requirements (APQP, PPM commitments, ISO standards, directives such
as RoHS, CE, UL, etc.), establishing LEM as a WORLD CLASS SUPPLIER and realizing the vision of MADE BY LEM
EVERYWHERE.
This role is essential to ensuring that all quality-related activities operate internally, while maintaining high levels of customer
satisfaction externally. The Quality team at LEM China (LCN) integrates all core quality functions, including:
? A high-capacity, state-of-the-art quality laboratory
? Project quality management
? Supplier quality for qualification of suppliers, new products qualification on dotted line basis.
? Production and customer quality assurance
This role reports directly to the LEM China General Manager and functionally to the LEM Group Quality VP.
Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure products meet global regulatory standards and customer expectations through robust quality systems and
validation processes.
? Continuous Improvement: Drive site-wide improvement initiatives such as, Six Sigma, and Lean, aligned with LEM
Group’s & quality strategic objectives.
? Customer Quality Management: Oversee customer satisfaction through effective handling of complaints, audits, and
feedback loops.
? Supplier Quality Management: Manage supplier audits and improvement plans, with dotted-line responsibility for supplier
quality performance.
? Monitor internal scrap rates, lead root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions to support ongoing quality
enhancement.
? Maintain and evolve certifications including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IIRS.
? Support R&D projects through structured project quality management.
? Build and maintain strong customer relationships, respond promptly to quality issues, and continuously enhance customer
satisfaction.
Qualifications & Competencies:
? Minimum 10 years of experience in quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Semiconductor Reliability Engineer
? Strong multicultural awareness and experience working with teams in Japan, EU, US, and China
? In-depth knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001); IRIS experience is a plus
? In-depth knowledge of functional safety and ASPIC
? Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, Six Sigma, Shainin, etc.)
? Excellent customer relationship management skills
? Fluent in spoken and written English
? Ability to use data analysis to make decisions
? Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanics, electronics, or quality-related fields
? Organized, independent, and detail-oriented
? Proactive and responsive with strong communication skills
? Technically competent and results-driven, with the ability to prioritize effectively
